Welcome to the home of Shidokai judo club. The Club was founded by Sensei Keith Henson in 2004 to give local people the chance to experience Judo in a friendly atmosphere where contest is encouraged but not compulsory and everyone can feel safe and enjoy training to whatever level they choose.
We are members of the British Judo Council (BJC) and all Instructors and club are fully insured through this organisation. To see more about the BJC see their website: http://www.britishjudocouncil.org

Newcomers of all ages and abilities are always welcome and if you are new to Judo, please come along for to see if seems to be something you might enjoy. There’s no need to invest in a Gi (suit) for the first few weeks, as a track suit or other similar clothes will be ok.
Please contact us if you have any questions you’d like to ask beforehand otherwise just turn up, let someone know that you’re there and we’ll get started .
